Leaving Tonight

I'm leaving tonight for Washington D. C. I won't be able to post but I will tell you all about it when I get back. We are going on an eight hour train ride that leaves at four in the morning. I still haven't decided if I should take a doll. If I do decide to take one I will take Kit (Ruthie was really upset).

What Should I Name This Post?

Guess what? We have had a birds nest outside of Emily's window for a month or two now. The eggs just hatched recently and we get to watch the parents feed the babies. One actually died when it fell out of the nest. We can't wait till the birds can fly.


I have been writing independent stories lately. I plan to send them to AG Magazine to see if they will publish any of them. If you get that magazine you might remember the story contest where you had to write a story that had the title "Dress Disaster." I am writing a story like that. I won't be able to send it in but I will be writing something.

I went to the orthodontist again Tuesday and got my expander. Every day Mama takes a key and turns my expander. At first it hurt but the last time she did it it just felt tight. I used to eat really slowly because I wasn't used to it. For everyone who doesn't have an expander, you are lucky to be able to use the whole top of your mouth.

Another Random Post

I'm sorry I haven't been posting. I have been doing other things. Me and my sister finished taking our achievement tests today. I wrote a new story and put it on Write Always. Here is the website that has the story on it www.writealways.weebly.com .

Orthodontist and AWANA

I had to go to the orthodontist today. I thought they were just going to make molds of my teeth but that's not all they did. First they took a bunch of pictures (they have weird machinery). Then they did impressions (molds) which felt like they were putting clay in my mouth and leaving it in there to harden. Finally they put spacers in. It was painful. Have you ever had to have your mouth numbed? That was what it felt like. I now have nine spacers in which will help make room for my expander. I keep worrying that one of them will fall out. If you're wondering what spacers feel like imagine that you have food stuck in your teeth in several places. It gets annoying and I've only had them for a few hours.

Tomorrow night I am playing the piano for the offertory (while the ushers take up offering- Adopt A Club offering in this case). It is during the AWANA awards ceremony. I will be getting the Timothy Award which is what you get for finishing four AWANA books.

Another Post With No Name (I'm not good with names)

I know I haven't been on here much. It is mainly because I have to use my sister's computer since mine isn't working. I have recently crocheted an apron for my dolls. I will try to post a picture of it soon. I will also try to put the pictures of my prizes that I got from Francesca for winning her contest (everyone please go to Francesca's blog at www.thegirlsofcrestviewlane.blogspot.com ). My sister really wants to eat lunch so I'll try to post later.
